Overview

CuePilot is operated by Educators Labs Private Limited together with its U.S. subsidiary School OS Inc. School OS Inc. (Delaware, USA) is the entity responsible for messages sent to recipients in the United States; Educators Labs Private Limited is the entity responsible for messages sent to recipients outside the United States. These entities, and the schools, childcare providers, and other organizations that use CuePilot to send text messages (“School Customers”), may collect your mobile phone number and SMS consent information when you opt in to receive text messages through the platform.

This Messaging Privacy Policy is a self-contained explanation of how mobile numbers and SMS consent information are handled for messages sent through CuePilot: who sends messages, how you opt in, the types of messages that are sent, how that information is used and protected, and how you can opt out at any time.

Who sends messages

Messages may be sent by School OS Inc. (for recipients in the United States), by Educators Labs Private Limited (for recipients outside the United States), or by a School Customer using CuePilot. The sender and the organization associated with the messaging program will be identified in the applicable text message and/or in the opt-in experience where you provide your consent.

Messages are delivered on our behalf by licensed messaging providers acting as our data processors: Twilio for recipients in the United States, and MSG91 for recipients outside the United States. These providers may only process your mobile number to deliver the messages you have requested.

Opt-in and consent

You will only receive SMS/text messages through CuePilot where you have opted in — for example, by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive messages when you sign up, configure notifications, or otherwise request them from School OS Inc., Educators Labs Private Limited, or a School Customer. Consent to receive SMS/text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

By opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS/text messages at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with CuePilot and the applicable School Customer.

Messages we send

When you opt in, we send transactional and informational messages related to the services you have requested, such as:

• Applications and status updates
• Reminders and scheduling
• Service and account notifications
• Support and verification messages

How we use your opt-in data

Your mobile number and SMS opt-in data are used solely to send the messages you have requested and to operate, secure, and support the messaging program.

We do not sell, share, or provide your mobile phone number or SMS messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers may be provided to service providers solely as necessary to deliver the messages you have requested — namely our messaging providers Twilio (United States) and MSG91 (outside the United States), and the telecommunications carriers they use to deliver messages.

Opting out and getting help

You can opt out of SMS/text messages at any time using the keywords below. You may also contact us directly to update your preferences.

After you opt out, you may continue to receive messages for a short period while your request is processed, and you can opt back in at any time by texting us again or re-enabling messaging in your account.

Rates and carrier liability

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers may change without notice. If you have questions about your plan or charges, please contact your mobile carrier.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Messaging Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Continued participation in our messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
